The American Advertising Awards (aka ADDY® Awards) is one of the industry's largest creative competitions, attracting nearly 35,000 professional and student entries each year through local club competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising.

With over 60,000 entries annually, the American Advertising Awards competition is the world’s largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. It represents the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes, and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. The American Advertising Federation hosts the competition through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.

All Gold ADDY winners automatically move on to the District level. Silver winners are eligible to forward and compete in the District competition at the entrant's discretion. Click here for a list of this year's local winners.

AAF DC is part of District 2, which includes New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and DC, and some of the toughest competition in the country. District Gold winners automatically move onto the National level, with Silver eligible to forward at the entrant's discretion.

National ADDY winners are announced at the AAF National Conference in June.
